Aubrey Plaza

Aubrey Plaza is an actress and comic born on June 26 1984. She is April Ludgate, a character in the TV show Parks and Recreation. After doing improv and sketch comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza launched her own web series by presenting The Jeannie Tate Show. Her later work experience saw her became a star on Judd Apatow Funny People, Scott Pilgrim and The World. Today is her birthday. Aubrey Christina Plaza (born in Wilmington Delaware) is the daughter Bernadette Plaza, who is an attorney by profession and David Plaza a financial consultant. The daughter is of Puerto Rican parents and an Irish-English mother. Plaza graduated from the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts as well as a Catholic all-girls high school in 2006 following graduating in 2002. While she was an incoming senior at high school, Plaza participated in Wilmington Drama League shows and was president of the student body. When she was at the end of her second year in college Plaza suffered a stroke which left her with expressive aphasia, as well as a prolonged period of paralysis. She's now completely recovered. Plaza began performing comedy and sketch at New York City's Upright Citizens Brigade Theater back in 2004. Also, she's presented stand-up comedy shows at the Laugh Factory and The Improv in N.Y.C. Plaza has appeared as a guest on E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street & The Jeannie Tate Show in the character as Robin Gibney and was also in the role of Ben Schwartz, as well being a character on Robin Gibney for the premiere episode of Terrible Decisions. In CollegeHumor Troopers, she portrayed the satirical sci-fi character The Princess. Plaza made her saxophone debut in the film Cassorla's Bona Fide in 2014. She also portrayed Aaron Burr in Drunk History, and Cat Adams for Season 11 of the C.B.S. Criminal Minds, a TV show. In Season 12, she returned to the show with a resounding success in the role. Following that, it was confirmed Plaza's appearance on An Evening of Beverly Luff Linn, a comedy indie.
